A native of Los Angeles, Yazmin Gutierrez is an accomplished interior designer with a decade of hands-on industry experience across hospitality and commercial spaces. Her professional journey includes contributions to globally recognized firms such as Soho House, DesignAgency, and Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), where she worked on high-profile projects that honed her expertise in creating elevated, experiential spaces.
Yazmin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from San Diego State University and began cultivating her design sensibility early in life. Her education and work have taken her around the globe, from immersive design studies in India to impactful volunteer work in Bali, Indonesia, where she advanced Environmental Education initiatives

Her design approach centers on creating spaces that feel intentional, expressive, and grounded in meaning. She draws inspiration from the identity and rhythm of each location, crafting environments that speak to their context while embracing a sense of newness, comfort, and character. Through Sentinium Design, she brings this vision to life across a growing portfolio that includes hotels, restaurants, member clubs, residences, and creative spaces
At the heart of Sentinium Design are four guiding principles expressed in Latin terms:

Translating to Think, Feel, Nature, and Dream. Yazmin believes that exceptional design should be thought-provoking, evoke emotions, honor nature, and inspire dreams. This philosophy shapes Sentinium Design's core values of creating spaces that embody these principles and exceed expectations.
